Idea : make Fast Travel a perk on hardcoe

Post » Mon Feb 14, 2011 2:10 am

hi-

I was just thinking today how easy Fast Travel makes the game, but due to the sheer size of it, Fast travel is almost a necessity..

well maybe for a harder hardcoe you could make fast travel be only available f you decide to take it's perk...

just an idea!

I agree, however I've just decided not to use it.

Well, the game is already out, and I am not sure they can really patch that...

I agree, I'd also suggest they bring back the highwayman or similar in non-destroyed form. It would be an oddity in the game but would bring back a little of the realism the hardcoe fans/gamers are looking for. Could also add a little more meaning for all the Poseidon stations they have scattered around the wastes.

That is such a great idea (for Fallout 4). It could even be a level-2 Perk with no prerequisites, seeing as how you tend to get Fast Travel capability right around the time you first level anyway.

Kind of like saying if you want to challenge yourself, make sure your character eats and drinks regularly.

Being on the Xbox, I am quite familiar with self-imposed rules for the sake of challenge and novelty. It's nice to have certain things actually encouraged in-game, though.
