With that in consideration I have already managed to do my speed run from Goodsprings to the Medical clinic and got all my implants at level 1 (gotta love snowglobes and gambling with 9 luck) and am ready to set off into the Mojave and kick some dusty butt. However even before I go out to the Mojave... Zion calls me with its very tantalizing prizes.
More specifically the Desert Ranger Combat Armor, Survivalist Rilfe, and a Light Shining in Darkness. (The .45 Auto Pistol fully modded and the .45 Sub-machine Gun are also both very nice as well)
Having already finished this DLC on a previous run through I do know that running in at level 1 is equivalent to suicide. So i want to ask what level do you guys think its really practical to even think about making my way into the Honest Hearts DLC? I don't want to get completely shafted by teleport spawning Giant Green Geckos, Giant Cazadors, and Yao Gui. :bolt:
Or gunned down by .50cal sniping White Legs
This is to say the least about the other pricks that like to pump lead at you with 12.7mm submachine guns :gun: and/or chase you with flaming (AND poisoned) shishkebabs :flame:
I know how to play this game at a high level after having played countless hours of Fallout 3 as well as Fallout New Vegas however there is a limit where plain ability and planning isn't enough and you are gonna need a few levels before you can effectively get from point A to point B without dying some countless number of times.
TL:Dr summary: What is the earliest level you guys think is practical to start off the Honest Hearts DLC without getting completely owned all the time.
