My ideas for a dlc. Bethesda, come take a look

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 3:10 am

-Something to do with those damn dragon souls after you got all the shouts
Agreed my first character has all the words of power and has 20+ dragon souls, and nothing to do with them...maybe have a way to refine dragon souls into skill points so we can get more perks? just an idea

I wouldn't want to spend those excess souls on perks. I feel overpowered enough as it is.

Instead, I'd be more inclined to adding more Dragon Shouts in a DLC to spend those souls upon.

They need to add Shadow and Arcane magic to Destruction. Only Fire, Frost, and Lightning? Really? It's 2012 Bethesda.
Bethesda does not have TES operate in terms of black and white. They try not to make anything really evil or really good either. Hence no super holy or evil spell schools. Just ways that the schools of magic can be applied for good or ill.

Shadow magic itself does not jive in that universe.

I don't think there is such a thing as a "shadow" element in destruction, though the pure damage health/magica/stamina would likely count as arcane. That said I am for more magic in general so if they added it and some lore around it I wouldn't complain.

What is shadow magic?

hand to hand perk tree.
it be awsome if in that perk tree you could choose to basically knock out the enemy, they would basically be alive next day but u could loot them and such
this means i can role play a hand to hand monk that only kills dragons and animals.

I'd like to have spell creation back like Oblivion. How about a console command on the consoles; you know know, when a quest item get lost in the environment or something. Just throwing it out there. How about having to participate in the war against the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion as a DLC?

Looks like a relisting of the features that was shown in the Game Jam. That said I agree with most of it.

I have never heard of the re-colouring armour idea before, but I like it. You can do it on Assassins Creed (well, it only has about 3 colours). I would like some bright pink armour! :D

The one thing I most want to see is something that is not going to happen. Alchemy bombs, I want to see the ability to craft and hurl fire/ice/lightning pots as a weapon. It'd make an alchemist playthrough a hell of a lot more fun and it'd no doubt be more powerful than Destruction.

- New areas (please Morrowind or Cyrodill)

Personally I don't see why we'd want to play in new areas like Morrowind or Cyrodiil. Considering we just left Cyrodiil and It would be almost pointless to go back. There really wouldn't be any "OH! It looks so awesome" because we've already been there.

Hey guys, here are some of my ideas I'd like to see in the next dlc's.

- More weapons ( please some spears )

- More armor (I thought of the arena and had an idea of some "gladiator-like" armor/weapons?)

- Mounted combat (prefer horse over a dragon to be honest)

- "paint" for your armor ( imagine black-reddish steel plate armor )

- to be able to put your shield on your back when not equipped

- New areas (please Morrowind or Cyrodill)

- New quest (would really like to see a Thalmor ass whooping storyline)

- More enemies (would love to see more monster characters like Minotaurs,...)

- Build your own home/ town

- More npc throughout the world

- More killcams (also for magic and archer)

- More mannequins

- "classes" in your chest (it's annoying to have to search through all your junk)

- less bugs

- Magic combinations (fire+water (or so)= Steam)

- More challenging enemies on later levels

- Something to do with those damn dragon souls after you got all the shouts

I know there are mods out there but i prefer official dlc's by Bethesda
Feel free to give your opinions and your own idea's.

Nopenske

I'd love all of these just about... especially more quests, more mannequins, and build-your-house sort of deal.

Fewer bugs is a silly request though - of course they're alway aiming for fewer bugs.

i have too many but now that you mention another use for dragon souls, i think it would be cool to be able to make dragon weapons and imbue them with the souls for some special power or effect

I want Divine Quests. It seems really odd to me that after slaying Alduin, Akatosh hasn't bothered to get in touch with me at all. It's also weird that we can become Champions of nearly all the Daedric Princes, but we only have two Divine Quests that don't actually have us connect with the Divines. I'd like to be able to be sent out on quests for the Divines and get more "Agent of X" active effects like a permanent Shout cool down for serving Akatosh or increasing the odds of finding rare items from vendors for serving serving Zenithar.

I'd also like more trials from Hircine. This could be a quest chain to increase your abilities as a lycanthrope and achieve new transformations.

Expanding the Thieves Guild missions would be nice. I'd like to have missions setting up fences in Falkreath and Dawnstar, setting up skooma distributors and other black market goodness, and there could even be something of an ongoing turf war with other guilds (Summerset Shadows was cool, but it was only one mission).

The ability to get more perk points would be welcome.

A lot of the stuff seen in that video would be very much appreciated as well.

1) Bumping your own thread is rude.
2) These aren't ideas. You just want more everything. And you won't receive it. Beth adding more NPCs/monsters/quests/revamping the challenge in the main game would be tantamount to admitting they messed those things up in the main game. You will only receive new enemies/items/NPCs in the context of a new, large quest chain a la KOTN or Shivering Isles. An actual DLC idea would detail the plot/setting for that extended questline. "MORE WEAPONS" is not a DLC idea. The vast majority of what you posted are modding ideas and will be dealt with by the modding community.
