Ilinalta's Deep bandit?

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 3:47 pm

I have just been Ilinalta's Deep, as you will know inhabited with necromancers. However i could hear someone repeating over and over "you must die" and the subtitles stated this was a bandit, so not one of the people i was fighting.

I have searched all over the level but i have not been able to find this bandit, who has since stopped speaking after apparently dying in a groan of pain.

So where is this poor chap? I do take it he was being tortured by the necromancers?

If I recall, there were a few dead bandits lying around. NPC necromancers will animate available corpses. Such was probably the case with the bandit you heard, but his path to you was blocked.
Zombies let loose with one last groan before they crumble to dust.

Yea it is most likely an animated corpse or Bug, but I have a question of my own on this topic.

Apparently somewhere in this dungeon there is suppose to be an Elven Gilded armor of the Noble Knight according to:

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Elven_Armor_(Skyrim)

It's at the bottom of the page, but I wanted to check and see if anyone has actually gotten this or was it just a random spawn because after my run through I did not find this ANYWHERE in Illinalta's deep?

Yes, I got it from the chest in the room with Malyn (I *think* - one of the chests in there anyway....) Maybe it's dependent on your level? [Level 24 now, can't remember for sure what level I did that questline at though - probably around 19 or 20....]

Oh well 2 things, 1. I went to the deep without a quest I just stumbled upon it because I read about the gilded armor and 2. I'm level 44 so that didn't help either I'm sure.
