Imagine if Martin Scorsese had made Skyrim....

That would be one heck of a game.

It would only be suitable for advlts though...

And you`d probably die at the end.

Yep. Same thing if Quentin Tarantino or Oliver Stone made it. Oh I forgot Wes Craven. Then the whole place would be like a nasty vampire dungeon.

Movies and games are not quite the same. A game made by a movie director may have better story, but game design, mechanics and balance will most likely suffer.

Now if the game was made by Richard Garfield...

Explosive machines added to Skyrim and something similar to TOR?

No thanks.

David Fincher, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan... Now that would be a film.

Well, it`s just a thought. I suppose the Director would have to understand games too (or have good advisers) for it to more than just another gritty movie.

Since your a huge Scorsese fan like me you'd probably like to know that try are making a Goodfellas tv series. It's not by him but it is with his co writer of goodfellas and the writer of the book. Can't wait it's on AMC.

If Scorsese made it, the Dark Brotherhood would be even more disturbing. So would be marriage.. Farkas would be hitting on anyone you were hooked up with. And you'd have a scene out of Raging Bull. "You [censored] my wife? You [censored] my wife? You [censored] you wife?"

That's cool. This book is really good, if you like True Crime stuff. I used to be obsessed with it... I remember that character Joe Pesci was based on was even more insane in real life. He didn't get killed because he was a hothead, but because he was a liability.. he was insane. He kept dead bodies in his house, and had a lot of like.. morbid paintings everywhere and stuff. He was a true homicidal maniac. Not fit for the mafia, per se.

Just because FO:NV had some good things, I wouldn't just hand Obsidian that much credit. They've also screwed up some series (KoToR II and NWN2 come to mind).

NW2 was not that bad of a game.... its story was certainly better then this dragon borne nonsense - ruined my gaming experience the civil war however was interesting....

I would like Francis Ford Coppola's version: "Skyrim...sh*t....I'm back after my last quest kicking up my heels in Whiterun getting boozed and fat on R and R while the stormcloaks are out there waiting....stormie gets no r and r...best he can hope for is sitting in the tundra eating fish heads and skeever...he's either dug in too deep or moving too fast..."

"Then they gave me a quest...and it nearly took me down....Ulfric Stormcloak used to be in the Legion...then he turned bad and was running around out in the wilds near Windhelm, running his own private army and a law to himself...my mission was to go in and take him down...damn near took me down along the way...."

I have not seen any person in all of the Skyrim community complain more about skyrim than you.... why do you use this forum so much if you don't like it? Mockery is the finest form of flattery.

PS- every time i see your profile pic i think that looks like katy perry.

I didn't speak a word to my wife until I said yes to a divorce...all the time I was out here, I was wishing I was there...when I got there, I couldn't wait to get back...

If Quentin Tarantino made Skyrim the story would start mid-story and end at the beginning.

Is your cup always half-empty? I wasn`t complaining, just saying. And neither do i complain all the time, although, considering I didn`t even know you existed until a few seconds ago I don`t care.
