1.05 Immediate Issue

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 10:31 pm

Just booted up Fallout New Vegas to get some plastic crack on while the PSN down, and to my surprise there was an update. I get the game going and now when I go to fast travel and then I decide I do not wish to fast travel to that location. The map goes completely black. I can just exit and go back to the map, but it does it every time. Just wanted to make note of this since I was unable to find it anywhere.

We've got guys looking at this. For now, if you just pull up the Pip-Boy again, the issue should resolve itself.

It's not happening at the moment now, but I definitely appreciate the update.

Pre-order stuff must be verified against PSN. I have the same problem with Red Dead Redemption and Mafia II. Don't actually know how this works - if pre-order stuff is totally granted when you start a new game IF PSN is up, or if you get pre-order stuff WHEN PSN is up and you load a saved game.

To put it simply, I believe I payed for stuff witch is now robbed from me because of PSN being down. Single player games doesn't work according to what I payed for. SONY needs to sort this thing out. Either I payed for something and then I have it, or I payed for something that they let me have at their own will. The debacle with PSN unravels a lot of flawed business decisions right now.
