Hey so I got Kharjo's moon amulet quest and its in Cragslane Cavern, but I remember from a previous playthrough that its also the location of the skooma dealers whom you have to eliminate to become thane of riften.

Knowing skyrim's awful quest system I checked on the wiki to see if i may run into any bugs and of course if you clear the place out you cannot eliminate them again for the Jarl. There was a tedious fix but only for the PC and you have to wait THIRTY days several times for the bandits to respawn.

So do I wait till I go to Riften or what?

I've said it before, who ever designed the quest system was high on something. Why mark it as a random location for radiant quests if it was only meant for the Skooma dealers quest?

Is it possible to get the amulet without killing everyone?

Otherwise, I'd wait for the skooma dealer quest.

Hmm I never thought of that, sneak in and steal it?

But maybe even entering the cave triggers a bug or something. i guess I'll just wait for Riften, no big deal.

Its just these kind of 'quest breakers' happened a few times on this playthrough and when I got this quest I was like 'ok thats it!'
