Improvements for EndGame players.

Well, I guess people already posted topics about this, but I have the feeling I have to do it too. I am a big fan of the TES saga and I really want to enjoy Skyrim a bit more. The thing is, I started a game on Master difficulty and yeah, it was hard at the beginning but once you get daedra set it is too easy, yea I must admit some mobs gave problems like the Dragon Priests or the Ancient Dragons but anyways... it's not about hardcoe players wanting something more challenging, I don't consider myself a hadcore player but the game gets boring because it is too easy. Comparing it with Oblivion for example, to get out of the sewers at max difficulty you had a really hard time trying it, and out of the sewers the heavy armoured mobs destroyed you in a matter of seconds, you had to think of a strategy and it was challenging. My point is, I think you should really add a harder difficulty mode. I owned Alduin in a few hits... I mean he is the God of Destruction and I basically [censored]slapped him, that was such a letdown, all my motivation went directly to the rubish. Not mentioning the bugs, I understand the game is hard to get to a perfect state, but please, add in the next patch a harder mode, something that requires brains not just pushing the attack button. You should get my point if you are a Mage and you're playing Master difficulty, the Destruction spells are almost useless while wielding a 1-handed sword with the 1-handed perks allows you to own any mob in the game. I understand leveling smithing to max very fast may count as a trick or cheating, but if you are aware that smithing is game breaking you should balance it a little bit. I've read some topics here and people have to make up imaginary rules to make the game more challenging, like not leveling smithing and things like that. Bethesda, you are the authors of one of the best videogame sagas ever, please keep working on Skyrim, balance the game little by little (mages for example are useless at level 40+), make more end game content and challenging bosses and mobs. I dont care if its DLC, ill happily download it, but please do an effort.

I agree some point that the game itself should make it hard, not our own role playing rules to limiting ourself

You have full daedric and your wondering why it's so easy? What did you expect? You have the best armor and the best weapons in the game. If you don't want it to be so easy, use fur/hide/leather or iron armor and an iron sword end game if you want a challenge.

Again, thats limiting myself, just like I said, imaginary rules that you think to make it challenging, the game itself is not. If I have done the effort of having smithing maxed I deserve enjoying the results of it, the thing is, even at level 81 (the highest), the daedric set is game breaking. I mean, why the hell am I 4 hitting dragons if im playing at the hardest difficulty? And what about Destruction? Have you tried using an expert or master destruction spell on a mob at level 81? It wont even scratch it, while a 1-handed sword owns it.

Yes, It's an old term in games that means mobiles, who are basically NPCs and enemies.

Unless you're playing with the new DLC (I believe), the game stops scaling around level 50. So, at level 81, not only are you decked out in the best equipment, but you're 30 levels above your enemies. Yes, you beat them up easily.

Basic fact of the matter is that TES games just aren't built to stand up to powergaming and min/maxing. You can do it, but it's not a terribly supported playstyle. Rarely is in open-world, free-roam, exploration games.

This. It's a bit disheartening, but Beth has never really put in challenging content for powergamers.

I came across the same problem with my dual wielding warrior. Once I hit 40+ I killed everything with one combo (pulling both triggers). And I never used things like alchemy to improve smithing and enchanting.
Once I hit 50 I just re-rolled because I was bored.

While you may be a high level, the game is never "done" really. You can always make your own adventures. Collect all the books, make collections of certain items, become hellbent on creating awesome enchantments and weapons. I know there were tons of things in Dawnguard that I wasn't really expecting, small things such as unmentioned collectable sidequests and fetch quests for certain NPCS.

I guess all I'm trying to say is that, sure you may oneshot everything, but that doesn't mean there aren't any adventures to go on!

you're max lvl with max armor and weapons, what'd you expect?
Daedric armor and weapons are fine, but there's no need to make it all legendary and use all 5/5 improvement perks.
Just because it's there, doesn't mean you have to do it.
