Improving framerate for my low end pc?

Ok I got skyrim for my pc and it's running and looking much better than I expected, however I was wondering if I could improve the framerate for it. it seems like it's running on 15-25 fps It's running at the lowest settings.

RAM 4 gb
Direct X
Processor Intel? Core ? i5
CPU M 480 @ 2.67GHz @ 2.67 GHz

I think I might be missing something, but I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to computers... ^^;

It's not too much of a problem for gameplay, but it never hurts to have a better gameplay experience. If someone can help I would be grateful! ^^

Compared to the crap Intel charges a ton of money for, and offer little for any game player, AMD has been better for a decade, at least. The Llano Netbook and bargain laptop graphics have blown Intel's garbage into the weeds for over a year now. Their new "Trinity" for both standard laptops and for desktops is going to do the same for better grade laptops, and still cost less than overpriced Intel tinker toys.
