I just completed the companions quest line and was dissapointed that i couldn't upgrade Wuuthrad. So, I was just brainstorming and i thought: what if we could upgrade all of these "special" items (daedric artifacts, ysgramors stuff, nightngale stuff, etc.) by doing quests for the important person/thing that made it (Ysgramor, daedric princes, etc.). These artifacts should be able to be upgraded, but since they were made by some important figure they shouldnt just be upgraded with ebony ingots or something. For example, to upgrade Wuuthrad, you could go back to Ysgramors tomb and fight through it, then use the harbringers fire to imporove it. Just something like that. Also, these should be challenging, not just easy to do, and you should have limitations (for Wuuthrad all of your items must be put in a chest and you can only use Wuuthrad, or you wont be able to get further into Ysgramors tomb. This is just quick brainstorming, so please feel free to (constructively) critisize, and add suggestions
