Inconsistencies within the Thieves Guild

I spend an awful lot of time down in the Flagon, mainly for the vendors and I like to run jobs a lot as usually they take no more than 2 minutes of my time and you get some coin for it. I have finished ALL the quests, the main TG quests + the City Influence quests + becoming the Guild Master. With all of this done and a lot of time spent in the Flagon, I've realized some inconsistencies that are starting to pull my OCD strings.

Everytime I talk to Vekel, it's: "So, you're Brynjolf's new protege, eh? Don't look like much to me." I'M THE FREAKING GUILD MASTER!

And then there's Dirge: "I don't care if your best buddies with the Guild Master, I'll still smash in your skull if you try anything." AGAIN, I am the Guild Master. I am even wearing the armour!

Brynjolf never has anything for me anymore. Everytime I go near him he says "Sorry lad, things to do, best talk another time" (or something along those lines).

I'm also kind of annoyed about what I assume to be a glitch- Karliah. I've checked the NG Hall, Twilight Sepulcher and TG over and over, each week or so, and she isn't there.

Vex tells me if we restored the Guild back to it's 'former glory' we'd get merchants; a Blacksmith and even an Alchemist. Well, we have those vendors... yet she still tells me this.

Next, all of the other TG members NEVER CHANGE THEIR TUNE! They say the same things, day in day out, no errands to run, no extra dialogue to go through. Just their introduction for example. I mean, when I met Etienne back in the TG after rescuing him from the Thalmor, I expected a story about how he was captured, his background, I dunno, SOMETHING, but no, all I get it "Nice to see you again, friend".

FINALLY, the Dark Elf recruit, Ravyn? He tells me after a short conversation to not mention anything he said about being in that other assassin group to the Dark Brotherhood or I'd get killed myself. Ironic how I am the Listener eh?

Bethesda tends not to be very good at this kind of thing, you just have to kind of ignore it

You are not the first to mention this. Your actions carry no consequences in Skyrim! That's my only major gripe with the game! Would it really be so difficult to tweak the NPC's AI to acknowledge our deeds? I'm no programmer, but it seems that other games have done cause and effect rather well.

he doesn't even get the other group's name right. It's MORAG Tong, not MoraNg. It'll never get fixed though- Bethesda would have to rerecord the voice files.

It just annoys me. Especially the Ravyn thing; he just told me that I'd get murdered by the Dark Brotherhood for knowing someone in the Morag Tog? I was expecting a small side-quest to assassinate him or something... but nope.
