No ingame Map?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 7:55 am

So as far as I can tell, there's no map ingame that you can look at to figure out where something is, or which quests are closer, there's only the minimap. If there is a map that you can use, and I just haven't figured out how to use it yet, please tell me.

Neither found one, but here's my thread I started the other day:

It's one of my only issues with the game. I've downloaded the sewer missions, but now i can't find them! Map would have been very useful.

It's by the arc that you come out of. Under the bridge there will be the sewer. I tried to go into it but I just have a red X there. I just started the game again so I may have to play a bit before I can go in there.

You don't really need a map after a little bit because the outdoor area is rather small. After you have driven around it a few times you will memorize it quickly.

He's probably talking about indoors, which makes up so much more of the game. I'm glad that there isn't a helpful minimap or magic compass indoors, proves that ID (at least) doesn't think we are all a bunch of idiots.

I am making a map of the wasteland. with some locations. Stay tuned. Will probably post it on here and GameFAQs

Eastern wasteland map is redundant since its so small.

At first I thought a map would be nice but after playing it for a while I started to like no map. It makes it more personal, it forces you to get to know the world. As for sewers they are supposed to be discovered through exploration. If there was a map the sewers would not be on it.

Pick up the game guide it has some nice detailed maps from what I hear.
