Is there an ini setting to change the timescale?

On the PC you can set it with:

set timescale to 10
20 is the default. Save the game and it will stay at 10. The smaller the number the closer to real-time it gets. 1 is real-time.

You also shouldn't use very low numbers. Setting it to less than 5 has reportedly caused issues in some quest scripts where they don't fire correctly.

It's near 1 that quests can get bofu. People say "more than 5" to be safe. The problem seems to be with timed events, like followers moving on the map while you Quick-Move into a city.

I think it would be ideal if we could make it somewhat dynamic. Time flows fine in certain areas, while in others it's all wonky. I find the "travel" time to be right when walking to a neighboring town. I find that working within a city to be way too compressed.
