I love the shot scene and such but I was hoping for a more emotionally gripping beginning to the adventure. I expected more but not a biggie. I like that the characters I'm meeting seem more fleshed out than before. Great character interactions. The combat is pretty solid except a few times when enemies ended up trapped in boulders or other obstacles. That can be annoying. The new perks are decent but nothing that really stands out and made me think, "That was a good idea!" - they seem pretty generic in general but servicable. I love the new musical selections I've heard so far on the radio... well done. Mr. Newton rips it up and I laughed quite a bit to his commentary.
My biggest complaints come in the form of 1. Not being able to loot dead people's belongings without bad karma. (This seriously needs fixed asap) 2. Magazines dont give perma stats like they used to... this just svcks the fun out of finding them. 3. You left the Mouse Acceleration issues in the game for some reason. Still never knew why they put that in Fallout 3 with a patch and even more confused by why you kept it. There's a work-around for this, but it should have been fixed before the game launched.
I know I list a lot of negatives but the game itself is amazing in general. I just think it could have been a heck of a lot better with some polishing. BUT - I'm very early in so there's still plenty of time for me to fall in love with the game, all over again. Thanks Bethesda/Obsidian!
