It's annoying but funny. Sneaking trough dungeons and so forth is the ultimate fun. But there is, of course, bugs and things we'll never understand in game.

I reached level 33 and since level 22 I am having some weird issues while shooting arrows or daggering NPCs.

Actually, I see a static NPC looking at nowhere. "Alright, it's good enough to shot". I aim and stare at it for some seconds and it stays still. "I'm hidden, I can see he's back."

I shot the arrow.

the npc SLIDES!!! not like moonwalk or anything.. it just translates to anywhere else without moving an arm or leg! just slides on the ground with a TROLLFACE... and stays still after sliding.

I WTF a little but.. alright. Breath in and aim again... SHOT! And.. [censored]! The NPC slided again! absolutely troll.

I gave up and sneaked to stab the censoreder... when I'm about to cut his trhoat.... DETECTED and it slides BACK and start to attack me.

This happens often. Has anyone faced this utter trolling?

P.S.Never had such experience... I'm playing with a mage build - just lightning everything... they will not troll me.......... I HOPE!!! LOL!!!!!

Laugh as hard as you can, dude. Because I laughed twice first time it happened. But it's nearly annoying to poison an arrow and the NPC does a "side-slide", making you miss. xD

Someday they'll troll you, be sure.

I haven't seen NPCs slide, but I have seen NPCs that apparantly have a short range teleporter equipped

This happens to me occasionally while sniping as well. It seems to only happen after they've been somewhat alerted; I've never seen them do it while just patrolling. I don't know why it happens. It seems buggy.

So I am not the only one. Unfortunately even backwards NPCs dodges my arrows. Even when they are NOT in alert state.

They really slides, no teleporting at all... you can see them moving around, but no body movement at all.

And they can slide at the speed of light even when they are aiming arrows at you..... and you can't slide back because when aiming you are sooooo slow.

there should be a shout called "Moonwalk" just like "Troll ro fuuu!" wich makes you dodge arrows by sliding like M.J.

Yesterday a bandit slided... dodged my arrow and fell from a wall. Died, indeed. That was not funny.

Its funny as hell with dragonpriests in particular. They will backpedal to the ends of the earth if they could!

I would love to to this. There are some dungeons where the NPCs does it very often. I'll do my best to remember the location and let's see.

I have seen them dodge (with animation for it being correct but strangely fast) and it does seem like they get a weird Jet Li moment sometimes. I've never had it happen when they weren't at least partially aware of me (partly open eye) and looking in my direction though. I wish we could do that move.

It not animating correctly and happening when you have not been detected while they are looking away does sound like a bug.

It's freaggin strange when you're up to backstab and ZAP! The npc Slides like a icecube on a table foward and attacks you.

The NPCs third eye is working. X_O

Had something similar happen, but only in combat. No not pure dodging but sliding.
Me vs and archer, I'm waiting until he is about to shoot (since they usually cant move then) but he slide away if I'm to far away, I know they can dodge and they seem to do so often lol

But thanks anyway, was laughing out loud as in a real "lol" for the first time in a long time!

Ive had this many many times on 360. The AI do a side-slide when arrows are fired at them, even with their backs turned to you. It has to be a bug.

Happens to me on the PC. I'm finding it started happening more as my Archery went up.

Same here, more and more I've seen the dodge slide, seems ridiculous sincemy character has not been detected, and no one gets out of the way of an arrow that fast when they don't see it coiming.

Get the slow perk and never see a slide again at least I never see one lol.

Seems like a weird bug made for annoying us. I could swear... I saw in my mind that trollface. Kinda

Nope, they still slide dodge. I have 50% slow, and they slide right out the way of an arrow even when I'm hidden and their back is to me. It's [censored].
