In-game it only says that they effect armor. Can anyone confirm if this is just a typo, or if these perks really don't work for clothing/jewelry?

From UESP : "The Insightful Enchanter perk also affects new enchantments on clothing and jewelry, despite specifying armor in the description."

Damn, maybe I should start going to the UESP instead of the Wiki
