So I buy Fallout:NV and pop in the disc load up the patch and install to my HDD. After several hours of Fallout bliss I save, turn off my system and go to bed. Next play session I put in Fallout and the game attempts to reinstall game data to the HDD except this time it stops at 46% and will not go past that mark.

I have deleted game data and now it will freeze at 69% for several hours before it finally installs and everytime I turn off the game I get the same errors. I have played the game so I know it works it does not seem like a disc error. Has anyone else experienced problems installing New Vegas to their PS3 HDD?

Just to give you an answer; No, I have not had that problem and I have never heard of it. I could give you a lot of useless tips of how to resolve this but I'll refrain from it. Either there's a problem with the game, the BR-disc - or it just might be so you actually have a problem with the hard-disc in your PS3 - not very common, but possible. I sincerely hope someone can help you. At least I'm listening.

Like Olle, i could give you lots of redundant tips that probably wouldnt help.

This may sound patronising,I;m sorry if it does, But do you actually have enough space on your HD for the game? It is a bit massive. And I'm assuming other games you play play fine on your console?
