ok I tried to search for a solution on this forum and others but didnt find anything that worked on other problems so I am asking here now:

the problem is that my skyrim wont start. i can click the icon and the launcher appears but when i start the actual game through the launcher or a mod manager or direct through the game folder it always has the same result: Nothing
after a bit of waiting if it just takes longer to start up the steam promo window that pops up after you close a steam enabled game appears and I have confirmation that skyrim stopped. I have seen similar reports but those involve the launcher restarting, I also think the cause of this is caused by me reinstalling a few mods which I've read can cause this kind of problem (they didn't have a solution however)
if anyone knows how to fix this i would greatly appreciate that as I haven't been able to use skyrim for months now.
(solutions i tried: I already tried to launch as admin that didnt work, i tried verifying the cashe which also didnt help, i also tried reinstalling from disk and steam both didnt work)

Are you using skse or script dragon? Did you try deleting your ini files? Are you using any mods? Has it ever worked?
