I'm actually just writing for if anyone is thinking about running skyrim and they have the intel hd graphics card intergrated in their computer. The game will run, before the patch I had to tweak w/ the graphics for a bit on the med-low settings, but since the 1.4 patch the performance has improved such now I can now play w/ graphics on med high settings. When in a dungeon, you WILL have a slight bit of lag (not bad, just a little choppyness) if you have on med high settings. Before the 1.4 patch, the graphics could not really handle the distant visuals. I'll use the sky for a example. Befor the 1.4 patch, all I got was just the basic sights, clouds, and stars. After the 1.4 patch, I can now see more detail in the coulds and now at night time I can see more stars, and actually see the moon, as well as the "northern lights".

With the new 1.4 patch.. intel HD 1000/2000/3000 and newer versions arriving with ivybridge cpu's run this game EXCELLENTLY @ 720p and the more powerful version at even 1080p with "decent" graphics.. nothing to extensive.
