Intense yet peaceful?

Found the second black book not long ago and have spent the last hour or so exploring Apocrypha (after not knowing what was going on why Heamus bellowed at me, I jumped in the water for a swim....)

Not sure if it is just me or I am way over tired or something, but this place is absolutely insane! After dragging myself through Soul Cairn for the better half of a day, I wasn't looking forward to visiting any more Daedric realms, but the detail and wonder of Apocrypha is crazy. Besides a few other key locations in Skyrim (Temple of Au'Reil was another of them), its one of the only places I have seen in game for quite some time that made me really take my time and explore every single little detail.

I have absolutely no clue what I am meant to be doing in here (I was rendered 'incapable of fighting' from my swim halfway through Hermaeus' speech) but just slowly making my way through. The Seekers are underwhelming in power but creep the [censored] out of me when they pop up right in my face and start blowing burps my way.

Anyone else get this crazy sense of wonder and amazement while visiting Apocrypha or any other place on Solstheim?

It's a neat place. The way they created the look of being surrounded by "knowledge" in the form of swirling pages, "tentacles" of books, and all of that is briliant. Not too keen on the inky blackness and slight overuse of green, though. It's one of those places that is interesting to visit but I'm glad the majority of the game doesn't take place there.

I like to reside in there every now and then. I take a break from raiding Abandoned Forts and clearing out Caves, just pop open one of the Black Books, and chill out with the Seekers.
I really don't think they like me wandering around their plane though.
And they're also really "In-Your-Face" kind of creatures. Always popping up right infront of my face...

you're supposed to stay on the path and find your way to the big black book and your reward which is also your exit...also the liquid is bad for your health and not good for swimming ;)

if you find yourself in the book with shadow then a torch or light spell is your friend

Thanks Haggar, I figured out not to go swimming after the first trip haha. Eventually made my way to the word wall then left. The place it awesome to explore but after 2 hours I needed an extended break.
