Before I express to you what I have thought, please give me your true feelings and what you think would be a good idea. I apologize on behalf of my arrogance. I could not find a suggestion thread, so I just decided to drop it in here . Onward!
Okay, I'll go slowly so I'll be able to jot this all down. I'm sure all of you are aware of the current situation. Should you side with Yes Man, you become the leader or whatever the title is of New Vegas. Mr. House, you become his "protege" (or something else, again not sure of the titles). Side with the NCR, a Ranger, if I'm not mistaken? Not sure of what happens with the Legion.
The idea I had in mind was through DLC. There could possibly be a DLC if I am expressing myself in the correct manner. Should I approach in the wrong way, I sound like an idiot, should I lure you in and show you what I am thinking through these words, I will be successful.
If I'm not mistaken, the reason there could be no DLC is because of the vast amount of content that would have to be created. Instead of one big DLC, why not two?
One DLC for the Mr. House and Yes Man ending. This would make it easier because you would not need to do anything with the securitrons. If you side with Mr. House and once he takes control of Hoover Dam, the game continues and the securitrons will be scattered across the wasteland in result of Mr. House now in large control. At the Dam, now at the outposts the NCR *used* to be at. And possibly Mr. House hired certain, trusted individuals to help run things at those locations. Along with taking the Mr. House, there would obviously being new quests specifically for Mr. House. For example, his technology needs to be refurbished and you need help from the followers and need to perform certain tasks. Clearly, something better would have needed to be created. Possibly even a new faction that needed to be dealt with? The Enclave from Fallout 3 came to see what the West was like? Oh! Somebody could have sabotaged the power and you have to found out who and why. Typical Fallout quest. Thinking aloud, folks! I'm just getting started!
Now for Yes Man. If you were to side with Yes Man, the securitrons will be in the same places they would be in for Mr. House, at the Dam, outposts, Etc. Since for the story line of Yes Man, you took control over New Vegas. What would be interesting is if you literally had control over the wasteland, you were able to control securitrons, *WITHIN REASON*. I know what some of you must be thinking, an army of securitrons. Whenever you get to a history check, all hundred of them will turn to you and say "Well, Howdy pardner!". Having securitrons ubiquitous throughout the wasteland, get real! Let's get back on track. So, if you were to be able to control New Vegas. Maybe you would be able to hire your own rulers for each casino, but leave the White Glove Society of course, who would want to get rid of them!? Possibly be able to make income from each casino weekly. And of course there would be a quest line for Yes Man. Can't think of anything on the spot, maybe you folks can help me.
Now, I'm sure you could all come up with specifics similar, if not incredibly different from the thoughts above. Please share, I'm genuinely interested in your ideas. I truly enjoy creativity.
Now that I'm done talking about the details, lets get into the actual concept of it all. I don't think this is rational in a sense, considering how late this idea sprung about. Maybe 10-15 dollars each bundle? By bundle, I am talking about Mr House and Yes Man DLC and the Legion and NCR DLC. Look, I'm just trying to help maybe give some ideas on how you can make this game better than it already is.
This is not intended to be a cry for attention. Please take into consideration that even though this is my first post, I am genuinely benevolent and truly wish to make a... interesting first impression.
Thank you all for your time, and please, don't forget the feedback!
Edit: My sincere apologies for not knowing where to post!
