Internship!

Post » Fri Dec 09, 2011 1:44 pm

Hey whats up! My name is Will and I was just wondering if anyone has any information about internship opportunities at Bethesda studios. I'm a Sophomore game design major at High Point University in NC and was hoping that I might get some information on the topic. Specifically the Rockville, MD location because that pretty close to where I live. Any info would be great! I searched on the website but could not find anything.

Thanks!!!!!

Well I must warn you, Bethesda employees are known for using their interns as portable chairs/footstools, also be prepared to bring coffe to people on the 25th floor... When the evelvator is broken.

I have no problem with these demands! I am quite short and therefor excellent footstool material, I have also been known to make a mean cup of coffee.

Also if you happen to get stuck on the elevator with a said employee. He has the right(legally) to eat you for nourishment so he can survive.

If you're interested at all in education, this would be fantastic job experience.

Or interrogation.

I could moderate the Skyrim forum's lol, would not be the first time I've done that sort of work. As far as the modding goes though...I'm honestly not on the programming side of design. I'm more on the story boarding/ quest design side. I've some basic knowledge of coding but I don't have the skills necessarily to mod Skyrim.

This. Also, go by and keep asking for a job. I hear it works on occasion.

Have you considered writing a cover letter, attaching your CV (résumé) and sending them an email? Far more useful than asking a bunch of people on the internet.

And they can pick up the donuts on Friday for me.

But the best thing you can do is keep an eye out for internships posted on jobs.gamesas.com

Good luck!
