I am having a problem with my ps3 version of the game and I am not sure what is causing it. I would appreciate know if anyone else is having this problem and how they fixed it.

When I speak to any of the vendors in goodsprings and try to sell some items out of my inventory it only shows that I am carring 2 cups for sale. Well thats kind of true... actually I am carring 10 cups, 4 ashtrays, a bunch of small (burned, destroyed,ruined, etc..) books etc.etc. A little over 450 lbs of inventory.

No mater what I try (reloading from a save game putting the stuff in a container and then taking them back into my inventory) I can not get nearly 75% of my inventory to show up in the vendor screen as a sellable option. Its not like the stuff has a 0 value and as shown by the cups its not as though the vendor is not interested in buying the materials as it will purchase 2 of the 10 cups in my inventory just not the rest of them for some reasom.

Anyways as you can see this is causing quite a problem for me I do not want to have to carry this stuff around with me but none of the vendors will acknowlage that it exists so I can not sell it either.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated as I am stuck untill I can figure out how to sell it off.

I don't think vendors will buy any stolen items.

This happened to me.. But then I realised I couldn't sell stuff I'd stole to the vendors I stole it off.. did you steal all of it? Seems like the kinda stuff someone would nick xD

Did I steal the items Yes. I was trying for an evil character just for fun.

I actually stole them from some of the random houses in the area. And even if some of the items are from lets say the store manager (which they probably are) then I should have still be able to sell it to the bar vendor or the doctor vendor because they were not from them but from someone else or am I mistaken?
Is it geographic do I have to sell to vendors outside of the town this would be a bit of a hassle carring all that weight to the next town. Or is LethalBlade right and all red items are perminately stuck (with no resellable value) in my inventory till I just throw them away?

Is there a vendor that specilizes in "hot" items that I have to find?

Shouldn't it matter WHOM you've stolen from?

Technically, taking things from the enemy of most factions (IE Caesar's Legion) is "stealing" from that faction; but everyone else seems to be able to purchase those items just the same.

I even "stole" some things from a few NCR guys and sold them back to them.
