» Sat Jun 11, 2011 11:19 am I find inventory sorting addons really essential. And with that this was a hard-coded built-in feature. Especially because the mods dont work for everything, needs too many .esp to support all mods etc.
I would want to see an option that lets me see prefixes like [Gun-Pistol], [Food-Raw] in front of the item names. If this is implemented hard coded it would work much smoother and let us get rid of all those .esp files that really imo create problems. (the more esp's the more problems)
Also if this is implemented another option to add a further prefix that shows the load order of the mod/DLC the item is from. So it would either be something like E8-[Food-Raw] but the first 3 characters would not be counted for inventory sorting or it can be at the end like [Food-Raw] Brahmin Steak @E8 . This would really help when playing with lots of mods to distinguish what comes from where where you cannot see the item in the world like in vendor screen.
