I couldn't find this app on the Australian iTunes Store and was directed elsewhere and promptly denied access.

Bethesda, when can we obtain this wonderful free app in Australia?

More importantly: when can we expect it on Android?

iTunes says you can't buy this in your region.

I put the app on my wife's ipad. Messed around with it a bit. What dawned on me immediately is this "app" is less useful than the bookmark I have had saved since 11-11-11 on my both my PlayBook's and PC's browser. Another app that exists just because of the limitations of some mobile browsers.

Not taking anything away from what Bethesda/prima has made here or anything like that. The interactive map is awesome no question. Just to bad ipad has to wait around for an app to be made instead of just using a bookmark. Shouldn't need an app for the interweb.

That's not relevant to my original post. Apple Australia does not make available all the music, all the apps, that are available in other countries — licensing issues, censorship issues, &c. There are many countries denied all the content available on the US iTunes site and this Interactive Map looks like one of them. Perhaps Bethesda hasn't got around to submitting it to the Australian iTunes people. Or maybe Apple Australia is just slow.

Getting to your contribution, I do not play Skyrim windowed just so I can Alt-Tab to my browser. That can lead to instability anyway. I have a laptop displaying the UESP Wiki beside my gaming PC. The Wiki does not have a good interactive map. That's why I want this Official Interactive Map on my iPad. iTunes Australia has not made it available to Australians.

What?

Can you post the link? I'd love to see the site from 11.11.11 that has your own personal logbook of events you experienced in Skyrim where you've added notes and locations, not to mention pinpoint interior and exterior maps and locations for every single item in the game?

Thingme, that svcks. I bought it the other day and it is lovely. I'm in the States.
Did you try contacting the App Developer to ask?

I'm in the UK, and I can't get it either. I hope it's made available outside the US sometime soon; I'm dying to have this app.

I don't alt tab. Or play the game in windowed. I just use it on my tablet. The interactive map is a website people. Could you imagine a world where everyone needed to download and install an program to their PC for most of the websites they use? Nope me either. But on the ipad its common place. My wife uses the photobucket app. I still use a Photobucket bookmark. But she can't use that site, so she has no choice but to install an app. It is the same thing with this interactive map website.

That is all just my opinion though. I'm sure it is unpopular one though. I'll continue to use bookmarks. They are the apps of the future. :)
