Issues I Have Experienced (Devs I'm talking to you) :)

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:47 pm

Hi All.
Just like to share the issues I have experienced during the 5 or so hours of playing. I'm doing so, as a suggestion to the Devs, so they do something about it and make this game into what it should be.

Ok so the issues:
1st> (Obviously) The frame rate issues and freezing.
2nd> I have Auto save set on [Sleep] only. If you are injured and sleep, the game auto saves with your life guage fully restored. When you reload, your life guage is not full anymore and you have to sleep to recover full health once more (Pain In The A..).
3rd> Running around I have seen Radscorpions and other objects trapped/falling/spinning in/through the desert floor.
4th> Climbing or attempting to climb up rocks has seen me on (more than one occasion) become trapped inside the rock I was trying to climb, forcing me to reload a previously saved game.
5th> Entering an abandoned caravan the textures are missing on the walls, floor and mattress so I am unable to sleep/save/recover health.
6th> Recently started experiencing enemies with no life left on their life guage, continuing to attack, taking several more shots before dying.

Just some of the issues I have had so far (Hopefully I wont experience many more) and hopefully they will be sorted out soon. Thanks for reading. :tops:

Hi, i just registered because i'm attempting to narrow down what my problem is with this game. i seem to have some of the same issues. my only main problem is, is that its running differently then when i first bought it/when i download the latest patch. its really bothering me. it seems to be laggy but instead of continuing to slow down it stays and this semi-laggy pace. i've tried deleting my game data/most of my save games and everything else but it still doesn't work.

The whole disappearing energy bar for enemies.. I have experienced too on occasion. But its a common glitch, it doesn't mean that you enemies health has expired. But that its been glitched to deletion. Obviously they still have more heath but its not showing.
ok and.... the whole jumping through rocks thing... lol dont do it.. the rocks and invisible walls are there for a reason.. to prevent you going into a overpowering situation. They are mostly there for show... Not a good idea to jump on them.. (in any game like this really) I have experienced the disappearing act of textures not inside RV's as well. Just one particular area where you get attacked by the powder ganger's that come out of nowhere (that are extremely easy to dispatch btw lol. Iv seen enemies stuck into walls or floors a few times as well. on and finally.. The whole saving and reloading and it you not having full heath.. I do believe that's caused because it saves before your health regenerates... I don't care as much about it because I usually continue playing. But its obviously an issues for some players.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND as a side note.. the frame rate has only started to affect me when I get into the strip.. NOT immediately but as time passes if noticed a drop in framerate which requires a restart.

on a side note... It doesn't happen constantly.. It sometimes doesn't happen at all.. The MASSIVE frame rate drop has only happened in a total of I think 4 times.

It could be due to how the game is installed. If its fragmented on your drive its gonna take the cpu a lot to search for those files. It may be the same reason I haven't experienced alot of the same issues others users have since my ps3 was bought a month or two before vegas... and my files weren't as fragmented as others..
