Item of +Enchanting

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 7:23 pm

Having trouble locating this particular thing, was wondering if it was floating around in the world I could go nab.

I'm not quite doing the whole alchemy/smithing exploit, though I do plan on powering some of my mage's stuff up, but that single enchantment has thus far escaped my grasp for 25 hours of gameplay...

There are no enchantments to fortify enchanting, just like there are no alchemy recipes to fortify alchemy.

Awwwww.
Better locate me some Elixers of enchanting, then.

I know the feeling, I was hoping for some too, but I guess that would just be inviting all kinds of gamebreakingness to enchanting (more so then there is already). I'm still trying to hunt down a disenchantable item of poison resistance. In game text says it's supposed to be uncommon, not impossible to find!

Poisons are never really debilitating for me.
It's those boss mobs with +elemental damage on their weapons, THOSE can wreck me.

I mainly want it because it's the only enchantment I still haven't found, though I do plan on using it. I'm a defensive minded player, and a lot of my perks went into defense oriented things. My magic resistance is at 70% without enchantments, my restoration perks will revive me 400 health if things get hairy, and I have an 80% magic absorption rate as well. I stayed a werewolf purely because the disease immunity and I didn't have to worry about managing vampirism. I've never used the Fortify x-weapon attacks and instead focus on passive abilities.

For the elemental weapons, my advice is to get a decent shield (Spellbreaker comes to mind) and use it to shield bash during the times that they're about to deliver a powerful attack.

Radient Raiment in Solitude will occasionally carry a necklace with the Resist Poison enchantment, and it can be found as random loot. This is a very difficult enchantment to find in game, I have encountered it once during normal gameplay on a necklace.
