Items to Pick Up

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 7:43 am

So for people that missed some nifty items while making their way through the labyrinth that is the Sierra Madre, or perhaps for those are planning to pick up Dead Money - I thought it would be nice to have some opinions of forumers on items that one should keep an eye out for.

Just a few I can think of:

- Holorifle (once upgraded, with over 75% repair health, it can deal 124 damage in one shot).
- Gold bars. (Value, decor).
- Holorifle modifications (3, I think they can only be obtained by finding the vending machine code and thereby purchasing from the Vending Machines).
- Police Pistol (fun to have, unobtainable anywhere else but Sierra Madre).

Opinions, thoughts and additions welcome.

Well obviously the automatic rifle. And any/all vending machine codes are valuable. That way when you get back and have the unlimited supply of chips, you can buy anything you want.

I'm talking about things to remember to pick up - in the long term. Things to use once the DLC is done and dusted. And I didn't include the Automatic Rifle because it's already outclassed by many others which are more easily attainable. Not to mention it uses .308 ammunition which is also used by the (at least in my opinion) far superior modded Sniper Rifle.

But it's the only automatic .308 rifle- how can you deny that?

it doesnt tell you anything and where to get them, me? well any thing that is exclusive to the DLC new armours, hell maybe even ejlihs armor or robes even if i have to kill him to get them. ANYTHING is my motto for objects to get from a dlc, i have collect every thing from PL and TP and MZ and that other one... to which i add that i am Dissapoint to my self.

*edit* if you could drop chips.... well any way Underground Hideout will have a new expansion once Dead Money comes out, sorry IF Dead Money comes out

Take at least one gold bar so you can make 5500 caps or more depending on Barter.
The rare armors and weapons that you won't see when you leave the DLC.

I made sure to try and take everything that was unique to the DLC, including at least one throwing knife spear and some cosmic knives.

The only thing I forgot was the embalming fluid.
