Items suitable for a fortify alchemy enchant

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 5:50 am

I've learnt that not all apparel Items can be chanted with fortify alchemy. I can use a circlet or a steel helmet but not fine clothes.
Is there a list somewhere I can refer to to see what items of clothing I can enchant with alchemy?

4 slots: head, ring amulet and gloves, you can use an falmer helmet and circlet to get 5 slots.
No body slots, does not mater if it's raged robes, fine clothes or daeric armor.
Smithing is hands, ring amulet and body, blacksmith apron is pretty fitting here.

I have Krosis, so I guess that takes care of the head. Necklaces & rings I have plenty of. So all I need are gloves, gauntlets or bracers? Footwear (boots, shoes) can't take this particular enchantment?

That is correct. However, With Enchanter 5 and Insightful Enchanter, you can make stronger headgear than Krosis.

You can actually enchant 5 items. Some helmets like falmer helmet and the Penitus Aculatus helmet can be enchanted and used with a circlet on as well. The rest are ring, amulet and bracers/guantlets.

Maybe I should've read the post more closely. Someone already said everything I did...
