Has anyone wondered why you cant craft ivory weapons and armor, we could use mammoth and horker tusks as there is no use for them and i really want an ivory bow...seems like a no-brainer to me anyone else have any ideas that seem like they should have made it in but didnt?

Ebony in real life is wood. Ebony ingame is a dark metal made from molten reactions.

So there's a chance Ivory may be a much different concept ingame than what you make of it. But I don't see why it couldn't work.

i dont know how they would make ivory into weapons. its not like you could melt it down, i mean it is basically bone after all.

You don't melt down dragon bones to make dragon weapons.
I think that ivory weapons would be great. It would make me actually want to fights some Mammoths.
Also I want mithril armour back and Amber and madness and I preferred oblivions ebony armour.

Well seeing as how I am the greatest blacksmith in all of Skyrim your logic means nothing to me.
Now if only I could make silver weapons too.

Mithril armor was great in Oblivion, one of my favourites for sure. The idea of ivory weapons and armor is quite inovative. I like it.

i always thought they should have a craftiing skill called crafting lol, and jewelry should be put into this skill along with things like ivory and leather making
