Jackal Canyon Entrance nod to DOOM?

Nice, I can see the similarities. I'm not all that sure it's meant as a deliberate reference but they do share some similar features.

I thought the same thing when I saw the entrance. I would not be surprised to see a Doom DLC for Rage.
