I heard that if u spend time in prison, some of your skills will decrease.. Im just wondering how that would work if you already spend a perk in certain set of skills. For Example if I have my sneak at 100 and I put a point in Shadow Warrior perk( Shadow warrior perk is a lv 100 perk in sneak). Then I go to prison. Would my sneak level decrease? and if it does would i still have the perk in that sneak skill tree? or would the perk disappear?? Or If i already spend the perk on a skill, then the skill level would not decrease pass that level?? please someone explain to me because I wanna try spending time in jail to see the different in each town but i dont wanna lose my skills level too much.

If I remember it correctly, you lose any progress in leveling up skills, rather than actually losing already accumulated skills.

Edit: According to UESP:

You don't lose your level, you lose your progress to the next level. If you are 3/4 of the way to the next level, you go all the way back to 0 xp towards the next level. If you are at 100, you don't need to worry about losing anything for that skill because you don't need any more xp

Thats great then i dont have to worry about the skill trees that i already put perks in.. cuz i dont mind losing my character progress as long as i have my skills level the same. Thx guys

All that happens to you in prison is you get loved long time by big hairy orc.

meh i used my speechcraft skills to pursuade him to do my bidding in cidhna mine if i remember correctly?? but yeah i was just talking about normal prison in general ^.^

xD I wasn't referring to that Orc. Just an Elder Scrolls version of being [censored] in prison by a big hairy black guy.
