Alright so i'm almost finished Fallout New Vegas my first time round with a mostly sniper character and I enjoyed it, but I had another idea for the next one. Has anybody tried an 'assassin' character? Here's what kind of setup i'm thinking.

Very high sneak + guns
Silenced 12.7mm SMG
Silenced 12.7mm Pistol
Binoculars/Ratslayer
Switchblade
Throwing Knives

With perks like "The Professional" and "Silent Running" of course.

You tell me. Can you effectively sneak around in close quarters without being seen?

what is the ratslayer?

Ratslayer is a unique Varmint Rifle, I think it comes with all the attachments you can get with the standard Varmint Rifle, including night-vision scope.

Would a James Bond style character not have a high speech skill as well, and I would say the lady killer perk but it seems quite useless IMO.
