Japanese PC release

Hi there,

On the JP brinkthegame portal, it only lists a PS3 and Xbox 360 release for late May.
Any word on if a Japanese PC version will be released or some sort of translate pack?

First welcome to the forums.

Now by Japanese PC version you mean you want it in Japanese?

If you bought the game on Steam - Then theres most likely Japanese translation, if you bought it from a store, pre-ordered from another website. The chances are a little-less, but seeing how Splammage is multi-ethnic game studio... I would be suprised if there wasn't a japanese translation.

Thanks Wraith.

I live in Japan and based on whether there is an official Japanese release of a game, the activity of servers completely changes. Only the really hardcoe buy English-only PC games.
A Japanese PC version typically comes either subtitled or dubbed and in native-language packaging.

To be honest I am not sure which SD would do.

My advice would be to go here: http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17

The devs are much more active on their forum and hopefully one of them can answer. Cheers.

For me it's funny that people ask for games in another language than English (No offense intended) because I prefer English over my native language in games.

I guess you're refering to Japanese games there?

Generally speaking, the original language is usually the best for a game.

Playing a game that you have almost no understanding of what is being said would not be so much fun. =P
