Does anyone know where the jarl of whiterun goes after the civil war? (as a stormcloak) he said that he would go into the wild (or something similar) and i feel like paying him a visit with my trusty sidekick cicero.

Maybe this was just random dialogue and he has actually been removed from that game? Because i been searching and asking around for rumors but cant find him anywhere

I think he goes to Solitude.

I'm pretty sure i searched solitude but i may have missed him, any ideas where he might be hiding? He isn't in any of the public places so i guess he must be in someone house

He's in the basemant of the Blue Palace and not very happy to see you. But his children are missing. :/

Edit: Looks like they're in Dragonsreach in the main hall to the left in a downstairs room.

Those kids are my good excuse for going against Balgruuf. Can you imagine what kind of monsters they would be if they ever took over from their dad?
