Title. Whilst questing in Winterhold, the Jarl gave me a quest to retrieve the Helm of Winterhold, a helm that the High King was destined to wear or something. When I turned the quest in..his next dialogue went something like this:

*I turn in the helm*

Jarl: Thank you! It feels good to have this back in my possession. Maybe the other holds will take me seriously."

Me: Anything else I can do?

Jarl: So there is this helm I need retrieving...

And he keeps doing that. Glitch? Well, obviously, but is there a fix? This is irritating.

It's a running joke in the Jarl's house. He wants to see how many times you'll actually do it. Every time you go to get it, everyone breaks out in laughter.

I think he really likes that helm. He's going to make a suit of armor out of helms. Help him!

Same thing happens with Pavo in Kolskeggr Mine. Clear it out once and he'll just keep returning to Left Hand every 30 days and tasking you with clearing the mine of Forsworn again, although they never actually respawned for me. Easy source of 1500 gold.

I think he just a lot of his hats at other times in his life, and he likes tricking you into recovering them for him.

I got caught in a quest loop on killing the forsworn in order to buy the house in Markarth. I had to kill the leader of all the places they wanted me to go to and then we I was redoing the quest from the beginning a second time a briar heart has not respawned and he has not came back sense.

As soon as you walk away to do the quest, he sneaks into the dungeon through a trap door and leaves it back in place. Then goes back to the pub and has a laugh withe everyone... there's nothing else to do in Winterhold.

Need to wait 1 month's game time before coming back to that area.

I waited over six months and everybody respawned except the briar heart. People need to acknowledge these respawn bugs so they get fixed.

I was ignored about the enemy respawns for months and then when the problem started getting really bad people then took notice.

Proventus Avenicci likes to send me to Guldun Rock (sp?) repeatedly. What's also strange is that the giants will respawn with the loot that I left on the previous corpse, ex. Ysolda's Message. I'd suspect necromancy, though no ash piles afterward (j/k)

I'll get all excited when he has a new bounty for me to do, and it's always Guldun Rock. After the 4th time in a row, I stopped asking for work. The other nearby giant camps and bandit dungeons have been cleared as well.

My apologies. I hope they add town repopulation with respawn bug fixes >.<

The respawns is so frustrating, I am having a problem with ny plants and the briar hearts are not coming back its just very irritating.

I am glad the enemy respawns have been fixed so far at least but there is still lingering issues.

Town repopulation would also be welcome.:)

At least in Oblivion I did not have to worry about cities becoming ghost towns. The dragons do add more tension this way, but the world can become a lonely place when dragons kill off the 5 to 10 people that live in some of the "cities".

The same in Morrowind I did not have that worry either.

Just out of curiosity I wanted to see how the town could fair against an ancient dragon, so I watched and I did not help at all and I watched this ancient dragon kill literally all of Riften I of course reloaded and saved rrrr be ignorant towns people but if I play q character for a thousand hours which I intend to do I don't want to travel across a dead world I just don't.

The Jarl keeps losing his helm in those late Loras-night poker games with Malur Seloth. Damn Elves!
