For both of them, I'd suggest one handed, obviously, and both classes would probably be robe wearers rather than armor.

For Jedi, I'd say focus Restoration, Alteration, and Illusion along with the one handed for your bulk damage.

As for the Sith, I'd suggest switching out Restoration with Destruction, and using only the lightning spells. Other than that, I really can't think of anything else that could be specific enough for jedi/sith in this game. xD

made a character like a sith, i focused on conjuration, one handed, destruction, and eventually heavy armor. Bound sword is really good at the begining, and i used it up to level 25, also lightning spells for that sith badass feel. Defence wise i used a black robe until i could smith ebony, then i used ebony armor...cause its all black and sithy

i suppose you could/should swap heavy armor for alteration, force users didn't use armor in the movies i don't think

I'd suggest wearing an Adept Robe with a Dragon Priest Mask. You'd look kind of like Revan before he became a Sith.

And although it goes without saying, be sure to use Bound Swords regardless of which one you go with.

I don't think you can do the concept justice, personally. A Sith who can't use Force Choke isn't worthy of the name, and you can't do the kind of superleaping acrobatics and telekinesis that force users ought to do either.

If you're determined to go with the idea, I think bound sword is the wrong choice. The correct choice for properly simulating your space samurai is the Blades' Sword. I also think you have to go with robes, to achieve the proper Jedi/Sith Lord aesthetic. Stack up enchanting to get deep discounts on illusion and alteration, you'll need them, because you're going to be spending your level up points on Stamina, not Magicka. The Lord Stone will help beef up your durability, and you'll need it, since your armour will cap out at 350.

Vader was the only person to canonically use the force choke, so it's...not even an incredibly sith-based idea.

Telekinesis is in the game.

Where are you getting the idea of the acrobatics? Sure there are a handful of feats in the (original) movies where Luke does some fancy jumping and tricks, but other than that, he just does basic showy sword fighting. And the jedi from the 'prequels' were just show-offy and didn't get much done, so there's no reason for anyone to ever want to emulate them. Remember: They were exterminated. So perhaps the acrobatics isn't helpful.

luke did some fancy jumping when he leapt out of the pit when fighting vader

someone should mod a force grip/choke by using the effects of paralyze and health drain and make jedi style robes

yes good idea..if your really determined to roleplay a sith then use thalmore robes and a dragon mask, use magic as your main weapon

if you want a jedi then adept robes like said here, but dragon mask? they look to evil if you ask me

but honestly its a silly idea anyway

Use mages robes, preferably hooded ones. My female character, Raven, is based off Darth Sidious and Darth Zannah. A bit of Asajj Ventress also as she dual wields. Use much lightning and scream unlimited power each time.

Definitely only use the Sparks spell for magic. Vampires have a sith quality to them as they can drain health.

Jedi's are simply the magic users of Lucus' Star Wars lore. The main challenges with replicating the Jedi experience are...

i) "Magic" doesn't work the same between Star Wars and Skyrim lore.
ii) The iconic weapon of the Jedi does not exist in Skyrim

The closet you can get is to make a mage and specialize in either two handed or one handed swords.
