Call up your friends and invite them over for a team deathmatch on any game of your choosing.

Call work back and tell them that they're nothing without you. It shows that you take your job seriously and that you tell it like it is. Employers like that.

Isn't it obvious ? First you play some Morrowind, then have KFC for lunch and then read some Game of Thrones til dinner where you have more KFC and then you watch some MLP:FiM and browse the net randomly until it's time to sleep.

Sounds like a day to me at least. (Warning: A diet consisting purely of KFC may not be healthy, but darn it's good, you deserve it!)

Whatever you do, don't make it productive or necessary. This is unexpected time off work, the Holy Grail of slacking. Have some SilverEagle time...

They could be politely telling you that you're going to get them in trouble for not being on vacation. It does happen, even if the employee willingly wants to work. That, or they do not want you to burn yourself out and/or become fatigued and therefore become not as productive.

Anyway, work out, run, ride the bike, read, game, cook, drink, nap, watch YouTube videos, watch silly TV, watch fun TV, smoke meth, make your house a mess again so you can clean it up some more, rearrange rooms to maximize space efficiency, or some task that feels like work.

Trust me on that, when your boss pushes you to take holidays, it means he needs to clean his account (and the staff by the same occasion). Your holy-days are provisionned in the balance sheet of your company. If you don't take them, you are "costing" money to your company. First thing to do if you want to have a nice balance sheet, push the employees to take their holidays. Next...

Short term: take a walk, listen to good music and relax for one day.
Long term: Look for another job.
