I've completed the STILL IN THE DARK quest, did everything they asked me to do!!

I even helped Hardin to confront the McNamara to take his position of Elder of the BoS...

After all finished, both McNamara and Hardin are unable to start a dialogue, they say they are busy preparing defence of they confront and say to me wait and come back...

All right, i got out of the base, start and finished various quests, explored the mojave and etc.

I returned and they still busy, so I search on fallout wiki and there says to wait few days... I waited and sleeped in Hardin's room about 5 days...

Then I saw in any other else website and says to me wait OUTSIDE the base, I was to Novac, sleeped and waited 5 days again...


RETURNED FOR MCNAMARA AND HARDIN, both scumbags still dont talk to me -________-'

What i should do?

Unfortunately did you happen to do all the quests for BOTH Hardin and McNamara and received double exp? Because if that is the case then there is a known glitch where if you do that both of the NPCs will permanently lock into that "wait" state and no matter how long you wait they won't let you continue on to learn power armor training. Its really really really stupid.

Damn! I cant believe that, I pass the whole game waiting to see where this [censored] BoS hiding at, and now its bugged -__-

IF it's preventing you from proceeding on the main quest, then you'll need to destroy the bunker.

How far along are you in the MQ?

theres an easy way to un bug it using the console:

resetquest 0015d79d
setstage 0015d79d 100

then wait 3 days and boom McNamara will talk to you. Problem Is I havent found a way to do it with the Hardin option.

i tried

resetquest 0015d79d
setstage 0015d79d 101 (101 is the vote of no confidence option, but it still bugs it and no amount of waiting will trigger the change in eldership).

resetting the quest and trying to do it over doesnt work either as youve already done stuff and it jacks up.

So the first option works if you are ok with McNamara as elder, but there seems to be no way to un bug the hardin route, if its already been bugged. Unfortunately, I did too much crap waiting for them to talk for it to be worth it to literally back track.

It bugs out if you complete the questline with McNamara THEN give the evidence to hardin. The reason its stupid like this is the quest should complete when yout either complete it with McNamara or Hardin but it doesnt so it leads you to thinking you need to do both.

The funny is when I talk to Hardin he is still in dialogue of the still in the dark, he ask to me help him outsing mcnamara,

but i dont give a [censored] who is the elder, i want the power armor and want to be a member of bos
