June 8th patch Messed up my Vampire

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:39 pm

So, after downloading the patch today on my xbox, I find that in sunlight, I now gain magicka, stamina, and health back. I'm functioning normally, aside from still being weak to fire and still having my health, magicka and stamina lowered still.

Are you sure its not at dawn or dusk that these effects are happening? You begin to feel the bad effects at around those times slowly.

Yes. It is lore-breaking.

Definitely a bug...

Maybe you found out the effects of blocking out the sun in Dawnguard. Anyway I'd recommend posting this in the bug report forum, along with info about what system your using. Greater chance that it will be reported as a bug there.

That's strange, I was just trying out mounted combat with my vampire and the stamina wasn't regenerating for me, even when I was off the horse. This patch is causing some very strange bugs to say the least.

I have gotten this RARELY on previous patches, it's just a rare glitch. I wouldn't worry about it too much. At least I hope it's just the same glitch...

It's still a bug... Can you think of a better reason to complain then a bug?

What's a "fishy stick"?

You must be new here, have a http://www.imperial-library.info/sites/default/files/dogate_til_fishystick.jpg

Kind of a running gag around here where new members get a fishy stick.

You could try curing yourself and then getting bitten again. Maybe it's just a one off.

Off topic stuff went away. Insulting flame post also removed - that member needs to review the forum rules and skip posting if they have nothing to add to a topic but a personal insult.

Oh I see.

On topic, has anyone cured themselves and gotten re-infected?

Could you try curing and reinfecting yourself with vampirism? I know it goes against ALL RP purposes but it's worth a try, right? Or try feeding to reset the vampire bonuses. Worth a try at least.

Fishy stick...?

OT, I sometimes get the "your blood boils in sunlight" message when I'm deep underground. In Blackreach, for example, I am told that the sunlight is hurting me. WHERE IS THIS SUNLIGHT?

Yes, you can get reinfected as many times as you desire!

Sneaky Trumpet:Yeah, don't know why that happens. I was kind of disappointed.

Sorry, I worded that poorly. I meant: has anyone cured themselves and gotten re-infected to see if it fixes the bug?

Wait, since when can you catch Vampirism after having cured it?
