Jury Duty

Gee, why would you need a death certificate? they could have checked it themselves

They don't have to do any of the sort. They look for reasons to send someone to jail and/or threaten to send them if you don't show up.

Wasn't the last fiasco over a cat? and then theres the German police officers who arrested an owl (and they say they have no sense of humour)
