Just beat the main storyline for the first LEGITAMITE time e

Post » Fri Jul 01, 2011 9:23 am

So tonight, after all the work I'd done helping the NCR, leveling up to level 40, killing raiders, fiends, and Powder Gangers, clearing Vaults, helping Kings, freeing slaves, destroying the Legion, preparing towns, fighting with words, and getting fisted by robots, it ultamitaly felt good to get the NCR ending. Now, before you boast, "LMAO LOLOL NEVER BEAT NV [censored]", I have beaten it before. The first time was about two weeks into the game, and all I did was rush it because I wanted the hardcoe Achievement on LIVE. When I got out of Oliver's office, I started to get through the Centurians, and thought, "Damn, it would be nice if these guys were just recruits." Boone was with me also, and did not die or take much damage at all, especially considering I was playing merely on Hard difficulty. So I had my trusty Anti-Materiel Rifle, with AP rounds included, and realized after a few minutes that I was getting low. I didn't run out, of course, though I did only have about two and a half magazines when I finally got to Lanius. And not to mention when I got to Lanius, it felt good to hear what an unmoved idol said to words of wisdom that repressed the need for the more spilling of blood unpurposely, not as pansily as I expected. And whence the final slides came up, I realized I hadn't done all of the quests for the companions, such as Raul (ED-E I couldn't do, anyways, because of the quest's glitches). But when I saw how a single Courier could change an entirely corrupted state into a purer reformament, it felt good. You know?

Post your trifles and glorified moments in the space below. :)

Note: I would replace the, well word in the last paragraph.

Back on topic, there is not much for me to glory over about in Nv. There was that one time in the dam and I was trying to kill the General. (I was on the legion side) Going through the dam must have been the hardest fight for me. As there were no legion allies supporting me against the onslaught of NCR forces. Room by room I slowly cleared but I had few stim-packs left, and being on hard mode this was no trifling thing.

Finally I reached the rooms chasing Oliver I believe. I came to one an Office with rows and rows of desks and wall. Little did I know there was some amazing bots at the other side in cover? The ranger had an Anti-Material rifle and the moment I stood in one of the rows. I figure appeared in front blasted a shot and ran off. I figured bots weren’t that smart to get to another row right away so I ran. Next thing I know Bang, I was dead. Over and over again I attempted and died finally I hit the end. Little did I know there was a sneaky Ranger with a super sledge? There goes my arm, the finally after many attempts I kill them with smart precision shooting. Then when the time came to kill the General I took my machete out and killed him in the name of Caesar!

Ave true to Caesar!

I can tell you right now, you just opened up a whole can of worms you didn't want to, cause now those people being [censored] about it, will without question.

OT- I do agree with you, my Brother has done about 8 playthroughs so far, has not beat it once cause he usually maxes out (Level Cap Wise) and gets bored because of all the wasted exp. It does feel good though. :P

First tine legion because I grew to hate ncr with their quests. When I get to the damn I see two troopers just standing there and no joke 30+ legionairies pop out of no where crave them to bits and just steam roll over the dam. When I fight Oliver that was the most un I had in this game a fight that I felt challeged on and happy I beat it.

Completing a tone of quests and finishing the game on hardcoe was very satisfying, but ive got to say that emptying a truck full of irradiated barrels onto a camp full of unsuspecting legion(cottonwood cove). Now thats satisfying, instant death, death from above. All hail the Yes Man.

I was disappointed by House's end slides. No mention of his space program or resurgance of a technology industry...like he promises you.
