Why does the dual hook go away after a few seconds? When I tether two objects together, the hook returns to me within a short time.

The hook line has a breaking limit, so it may be snapping. There are mods that make it invincible though, among other things like increase it's range.

Okay so we are even. Consoles have no mods and PC has crappy handling. I feel better.

But yes. I can't get a handle on any of the cars in the PC version really. The sports cars are the worst offenders. They just go careening off the road, and it's extremely hard not to over-correct.

Oddly enough, I was just playing this. To answer your original question, the dual-hookage also snaps if you try to use the grappling hook again. So if you have two things tethered and you try to grapple to something else, they break.

The dual hook snapping is really annoying when I'm trying to hang a guy on a lamp post. He hangs there and just falls after 2 seconds

Wait. What happens when you blow up everything?? Won't the game get boring? Well I suppose there's so much to do that that will never happen. I just hope that in JC3 they make more things destructible, and that buildings that you destroy respawn alittle while later like in Mercs 2.

Yesterday, I just did something epic! It's probably been done before but I'll post it anyway.

1. Go to Panau International Airport.
2. Get the Titus ZI (fast sports car) outside of the airport.
3. Drive it along the fence separating you from the runway. (But be warned, the Titus ZI has awful off road handling.)
4. Once you come to the gap in the fence, drive onto the side of the runway.
5. Wait for an airliner to come.
6. Stunt jump onto the top of the Titus ZI.
7. Attach the Titus ZI to the airliner using your grappling hook.
8. This is the hard part. You need to drive the car alongside the airliner, make sure you don't drift to far away from the plane otherwise the rope will snap.
9. If you did step eight correctly, the plane will take off bringing you, in the car with it.
10. Fly!

Why won't the GPS tell me which way to go anymore? If I set a waypoint and get in a car, it doesn't show me arrows to follow...

Not been said yet, but enemies can also pull grapples out of themselves.
