Hi all..
I started Skyrim as a warrior. I`m not a warrior, I`m a boat builder. Nevertheless for some reason I always want to run out there and kill everything. I`m now at level 51 with 100% in smithing, block, two handed, one handed, heavy armour, enchantment, lock picking and restoration. I cheated with the smithing by using the old crafting squillions of daggers trick. The enchantment was easy once I worked out that you need to enchant every item no matter how small that you pick up on your travels...cheap rings and daggers are best as you can carry loads. You use a lot of filled soul gems so I stuck soul trap on my Daedric mace. Everything else was hard earned. I`ve killed 81 dragons and finished the main quest. I thought that would be just about it and I could say hello to Kingdoms of Amalur which keeps shouting "buy me" when I walk past my local Game store.
Nope.
I had quite a few unfinished side quests so I thought "rude not to" and started finishing them off. I stopped levelling up at 48. Anybody twigged why?....Never picked a pocket. Don`t like casting spells except healing ones. never sneaked about in the shadows etc etc. No skill points were going towards my level up. And thats why Skyrim works for me....you think youv`e finished the game and then suddenly realise that your new goal is to be the the sneakiest tealeaf that was ever in an RPG. On the plus side my pickpocket, sneaking and light armour are going up and so is my levelling...on the minus side, try killing a dragon that suddenly jumps out on you while your`e wearing a magic cardy, a cloth hat and sneakers. Twin deadric daggers are pretty but seriously against a dragon you might as well throw stones.
Anyway...heres a question or two..
Does anybody know if potions stack the effect (can you use 3 or 4 potions and get the effect all at the same time or do you only benefit from the last one you took).
Why is there a guy at the stormcloak camp outside of Whiterun that won`t die?. I get him so hes kneeling down and then he just gets up again. On one hand I used him to 100% my block skill but on the other how come he`s immortal - have I missed a quest ?.

All the Legates/Camp Patriarchs are immortal. Bethesda dropped the ball, nothing we can do about it.

The Commanders in the encampments of both sides are essential, afaik.
I only use self made potions, and they don't stack. You only get one Fortify Enchantment or Fortify Smithing potion per craft, for example.

Please define "tealeaf" in this context. :P

If you are on PC there are mods to fix those Generals.
If not, that's a shame, since Bethesda really failed at that.
