Just did the Markarth excavation dungeon on master

Took me about 3 hours, lost Janessa in the process, damn falmer. Biggest dungeon Ive come across yet (excluding blackreach)

Whoever designed this dungeon should be the lead dungeon designer in future games. Too many dungeons are A-B corridors but this had various hallways, rooms, passages. More complex dungeons FTW.

i presume he's talking about Nchuand-Zel below Understone Keep you can gain access to it by talking to Calcemo and help him get his excavations back on track.

A lot of the dwemer ruins are pretty neat. I particularly enjoyed the ones you get sent to by Mjoll in Riften and the Daedra Peryite.

I still haven't been through half of them i'd guess, but they are much more interesting than a lot of the random caves.

The Dwemer ruins are huge.

The Mage's College sends you to Mzulft, which is also pretty big. I think I spent ~2 hours clearing that out, maybe more.

I'll be expecting to come to the end of the dungeon soon, but there's always another section, with more automatons/falmer to clear out.

Mzulft was what was wrong with dungeon design in this game. Just one big corridor.

I must be the only skyrimer in existence who dislikes dwemer ruins. I find them too 'high-tech' and geometric, and they all feel very similar to one another unlike the other dungeons and caves.
