Beth is really teasing us by saying:"Werebears what men that are bears.

Can a mod move this to the spoilers section.

My favorite is the crack about the butterflies. I was on an alchemist character and I was like, "holy crap, how did you know?"

No spoilers here, you'll meet M'aiq everywhere on your way. I like seeing him in the distance when I'm in the middle of nowhere. :)

I've run into him about four times now in wildly different locations. The best one yet that I've heard from him is...

Spoiler
his father and grandfather were also named Maiq.

I ran into him three times in my first 12 hours of play and haven't seen him in the past 58 hours.

Is he geographically bound?

I don't believe so, no, I've seen him in all sorts of different places.

I am walking all the roads of Skyrim, and have run into him about 4 times now, so he does get around. He always seems to have something different to say each time.

First time I saw him it was night and he was almost invisible in a bush if it wasn't for his orange robe. Said the one about mysticism and it cracked me up.

I found him in my first few hours, on the way to Riften. Haven't found him again in over 50 more hours of play

My favorite is the crack about the butterflies. I was on an alchemist character and I was like, "holy crap, how did you know?"

I almost gave up my career as an alchemist after that one:D But it's too profitable, and one must do what good business dictates!

(Besides that, they get on my nerves! Too often I mistake them for being dragons, argh!! So, off with their wings!)

I saw 2 Khajiits in the distance and thought, "ooh kitties! :D", but the first khajiit was a thief and i killed him. So i sprinted toawrds the other with my weapon ready when i realise it was maiq. I already met him like 3 times, but it was nice seeing him again.

I did not see Maiq until two real time days ago. And I have seen him twice now. I think walking places is how to best get him to appear.

I will leave this in General, as Maiq is pretty common knowledge. Plus, he shows up in random locations so that can't really be Spoiled. I would prefer that people put his qoutes in Spoiler Tags if you can. That way if someone has not met up with him yet, they will hear it all for the first time.

Yes, M'aiq has some food quotes this time around. I liked the butterflies comment, too, except that they respawn from zoning so he's not being accurate. :P Or maybe he's just trying to lay a guilt trip on the PC.

Really, though, I never use fast travel and I run into him all the time. In fact, I'd say half of our encounters have been him and an enemy mob of some kind, sometimes rather nasty.

I see him quite a bit because I walk everywhere and my favorite line is the one about fur on armor.
