I work at gamestop and we just got all our copies in its so exciting finally holding a game I've been waiting to get for so long just wish I could play it!!!! anyways here are some pics

Dam I'm glad I don't work at gamestop lol I would prob get fired today for stealing a copy of Brink to play. I would pay for it but wouldnt be able to wait 5 more days seeing it right there in-front of me lol.

Still not fond of the fact that they don't have the Splash Damage logo on the front of the box... I mean really they made it.

This makes me think if Steam Pre load will be unlocked any time soon so i can pre download the game and just play it on the release not having to wait extra time.

THE BRINK STRATEGY GUIDE HAS NO "STREET DATE" IN THE GAMESTOP DATABASE SO IT IS TECHNICALLY LEGAL FOR THEM TO SELL IT TO U BEFORE THE GAME RELEASES. so yah go get ur strat guide cuz i will have it as soon as the box ships in

The only logical answer I have for why the Steam pre-load is not up is that either they want to make sure it includes all last minute patching, and that they might fear the pre-load file will be hacked, and allow early play.

Personally I don't agree with either reason. I've owned my phantom copy for over half a year now, and am pretty upset with the incredible purchase -> release delay, and complete lack of any sort of bonus for pre-ordering ahead of time (if you respond that I got the spec ops pack, you do not understand the depth of this issue).

Secondly - I have to apologize to Suk_A_face, As i quickly clicked your thread with sheer excitement, not reading it all - i simply glanced at the links and i read "I work at gamestop and we just got all our copies in its so exciting" - I got to here and called you every possible bad thing under the sun to my cat, who then became quite scared and has now walked away...

Until i Finished reading ALL your post - I feel your pain even more now, cause if it were me?

My job at gamestop would have ended when i ran for the nearest exit holding a copy.

Either way - I cant see them NOT doing DLC for the game, But again - Is gonna depend on the numbers sold.

If its big enough - I can see plenty of DLC too hold us over till B2.

They probably put Bethesda's name on the front of Brink because more gamers know their name over Splash Damage. Though I do agree to some degree. Splash Damage should of been on the front, right beside Bethesda.
