Just got married! And..

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 2:23 pm

So I just got married to Senna, and I noticed there isn't an option to change what shes wearing. Is this a bug or was this intended? Shes wearing robes and I wanted to switch her to a dress so she looks less.. nunish. Can I reverse pick pocket her some new gear or am I stuck with what she is wearing? I'm on PS3 btw so no cheap work arounds for me.

She isn't a follower, so you can't trade her items that she will equip.

I believe it can be done using the perfect touch perk by mastery of the pickpocket skill tree.. I think you have to leave at least one item of default clothing in her inventory to get it to work. My spellsword is also married to Senna. She's fine... and very sixy when she prays..

Oh believe me, I'm looking forward to seeing her pray. I'm also glad that she won't look like a [censored] nun the whole time. Thanks again!

I also read that "perfect touch" perk will make your dreams come true.
This is my aim, as I hate seeing her nunnish clothign as well

By cheap work around, I believe you're gonna need a mod to do what you're trying to do permanently. I know you cant use them, I'm just saying.

What you guys are talking about above I think resets the next time you walk in your house.

Yeah, "marriage" in this game isn't exactly fleshed out. You get a bit of daily cash and a homecooked meal. That's about it. Here is hoping modders can round it out to mean something. I picked the girl I picked because I like her, and it sure would be nice if it felt like our characters were special to each other, instead of just getting a throwaway "yes dear" line or two. Being able to buy them clothes and accessories (or find them on mobs and exploring) that they would wear would be fantastic. Make all that spelunking and mob-slaying worthwhile if it meant you could net some cool "fluff" to gift your beloved.

I'd like something like that, but alas the wee folk on the PS3 and 360 must suffer with whatever Bethesda decides to put in the game. Shame modding has not legally been introduced to the larger games that are on the market. Companies just need to support it, the premise is there with Little Big Planet having done it, is it a cost issue or something? Just boggles my mind that popular mods supported by Bethesda are not put into the PS3/360 networks.

It's a little creepy that you want to dictate what your spouse wears at home.

I ended up marrying Camilla Valerius (from Riverwood Traders) and at first things worked out good - she'd tend to the store, I'd go out and "collect" our inventory (or at least sold her a lot of stuff). But after the honeymoon was over, I realized how shallow she is. Every single time I come home, she goes on about that damned claw I returned to her and her brother.. which was one of the very first quests I did at < lvl 5. I'm level 49 now, and nearly a year of in-game time has passed. Give it up girl, it's been 6+ months since you've even seen that damn claw and it's tearing our marriage apart. I guess it's time I'm honest with her about my connections to the Dark Brotherhood, and that a DB member (or guild-master no less) doesn't get divorced, we get "widowed." :whistling:

I remember my first marriage like it was yesterday. Long story short, it didn't turn out so well because Sven's lifeless corpse decided to attend the ceremony.

lol at the "tearing our marriage apart". It sure does get old hearing the same few lines. But then when we aren't around, they are probably telling their friends about how boring we are.
