So i was doing the Mehrunes Razor quest and eventually got to, i think it's called, Hags End.. I play as a thief so i had no problem sneaking past those forsworn guys and killing those that had to die.. Eventually i got up some stairs and heard a grunt from inside a pretty big tent, i didn't want to get everyones attention by attacking the creature inside so i snuck( i think that's a real word) around it. And on the other side was a Forsworn Briarheart with his back turned towards me! I didn't want to kill him the regular hack and slash way so i pickpocketed him and took his briarheart, and bam! He collapsed like a sack of potatoes! I looted him and snuck away up some stairs that was placed in the direction the tent opening was facing, i carefully looked inside the tent from a distance, and what do i see? A troll! I had succesfully killed his guardian right outside his tent and gotten away with it without him charging me with his stinking claws..
It was awesome and this is why i love playing as a thief!
Have anyone else experienced any cool moments like these as a thief or any other character? Please share!

I didn't know that if you take their Briarheart that they die... I may have a new tactic.

It's amazing! And if you look at their body when you have taken the heart, the orange thing(briarheart) in the hole in their chest is gone! It's a neat little addition to the game..

I, too, did not know that stealing their briarheart would kill them....infact - i thought a briarheart was some kind of plant. lol

yeah I love the pickpocket them much easier than going toe to toe with them if I dont have to

I found this out only about a couple weeks ago but it makes logical sense: the briarhearts are the undead with the briarheart keeping them alive, so......pull the plug. I love finding little things like this, they add little but so much at the same time.

It is, the Hagravens take dead forsworn and put briarhearts in them so they can live

I know right! It makes the game a lot more fun for a thief too!

The sad part is they are cleverly simple and I never figure these things out until much later in the game....once I do theres always a moment. Just like when I found out you can shout butterflies out of the air and kill those hawks flying above solitude.

Ah, I remember killing my first hawk. It was in Solitude, too. I saw a big shadow zoom across the ground, thought "Dragon!", looked up ready for a fight and saw the hawk. Out of pure annoyance I threw a lightning bolt at it. Surprised the heck out of me when I hit it; I thought they were just eye candy.

My boyfriend shoots them out of the sky with arrows.....his aim is uncanny, and im jealous lol
