It Just Isn't Fair!

Why doesn't Sunset Sarsaparilla have any variations like Nuka Cola. Is it because Nuka Cola was a far more popular drink? Dont get me wrong I like Nuka way more than Sunset Sarsaparilla but it just irritates me that it doesn't so could someone please make a mod that gives Sunset the variety it deserves.

P.S. Please answer my original question as well please.

It'd be like making Root beer taste like cherries.

It's not the flavour differences that matter. Its the pretty colours and the bonuses they give you. I'm not sure but I dont think that Quantum and Nuka would've had extreme flavour differences either since it never said so anywhere (might've on the wiki though, to lazy to check). There could be flavour differences if you really wanted to like how Coka Cola has had cherry and things like that.

I liked the original Nuka~Cola (FO1).

It had no effects at all ~but they still made it addictive.

I don't see the point of other Sarsaparilla flavors, but they could make 'Barium http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birch_beer' right?

IMHO the Nuka Cola thing got out of hand. Quantum I am ok with, it was a test thing in DC but peoples love of quantum forced the Devs of New Vegas to come up with victory and quartz. Just seems stupid to me for a soda to give you night vision.

I wish they just stuck to Nuka Cola, Cherry and good old Yellow :hubbahubba:

Anyways warpenergybot is right "Sunset Sarsparilla is a SARSPARILLA flavored drink. How many flavors of sarsparilla can you make?"

It's also possible that it was so good they did not need to resort to putting radioactive isotopes in their drink. It is also alot younger then Nuka Cola.

@ Styles- And here I thought I'd be afraid to drink a quantum IRL, but hell, if I had to drink from one. I'd drink from the low light purple over that obnoxiouly bright 'Nuka Cola Quartz' dear god, it looks like I'd be drinking Jason Brights piss :bonk:

I wish colas nowadays were these bright and fancy colours (even better if I did get night time vision after drinking one).

By younger I mean Nuka Cola was already well established and Sunset was just breaking into the markert. Thats my take I don't think there is any years given to sunset. Would explain why it was never mentioned in any fallout game.

Have you ever had a Saspirrila? It is not a flavor that you want to mix with things, other than maybe Ice Cream for a Float. It tastes a lot like Root Beer, but it is not the same thing.

Now, there could be Sunset Ginger Ale or Sunset Orange or Sunset Limon as varieties. However there are a couple of old school Saspirrila Brewers that make just that, Saspirrila and no other soda. So, there is a precendent.

Also, you may have noticed that the Saspirrila has no Rads, where as the Nuka does, and the Nuka Variants even more so. I would expect the Nuka Cola folks to come up with weirder drinks to get the Rads in people.

I don't think Victory or Quartz were meant to be actual manufactured products, just something some wasteland chemist concocted. Has anyone gotten a good look at the labels?

If it was making your product addictive maybe, but I cant see radiation making it addictive, so wouldnt you just be killing off your market base?
